STAR Cricket Team Finishes Strong as Runner-Up in MSSD Kinta Utara 2025
Kinta Utara – 2025 – The Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR) Cricket Team proudly secured second place in the MSSD Kinta Utara Cricket Championship, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
After a series of competitive matches, STAR advanced to the final, where they faced a strong opponent in SMK Anderson. Despite a valiant effort, the team finished as runner-up, marking a significant achievement in the school’s cricket journey.
The team was led and guided by two dedicated teachers, Cikgu Faiz and Cikgu Hafizul, whose coaching, motivation, and strategic guidance were instrumental in the team’s success.
This achievement highlights the team’s discipline, sportsmanship, and rising potential in the district cricket scene. It also reflects the growing strength of cricket as part of STAR’s co-curricular excellence.
