STAR Celebrates Academic Brilliance at 2025 Excellence Awards Ceremony

Ipoh, 14 June 2025 – Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR) held its prestigious Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan 2025 on Saturday morning at the school’s Dewan Besar, honouring the achievements of students who have demonstrated outstanding academic and co-curricular performance throughout the year.

The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berusaha Encik Zulkafli bin Mohamed Mokhtar, Deputy Director of the School Management Sector, Perak State Education Department (JPN Perak). In his officiating address, he emphasised the importance of continuous excellence, student resilience, and the need to uphold the strong academic legacy of STAR.

More than a hundred students received awards across various categories including Best Academic Performance, Subject Excellence, Leadership, and Co-curricular Distinction, representing a celebration of both scholastic achievement and holistic development.

In his welcoming remarks, the school principal expressed pride in the recipients and urged all students to use the success of their peers as motivation to push their own boundaries.

“This event is not only about honouring excellence but also about inspiring it,” he said.

Parents, teachers, and members of the school community were also present to witness the proud moments of their children and students, making the ceremony a meaningful occasion for all.
